Felicia inspires people to follow the path to personal freedom and vibrant health through the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda as incorporated into an everyday modern routine. She teaches a relaxation-based gentle class that helps relieve stress and tension; eases tightness and pain and helps to promote rejuvenation. Throughout class, she offers information to empower people to take care of their bodies, minds and spirits throughout the day including everyday techniques to reduce tension and strengthen the immune system. Felicia combines more than twenty years of study of the Yoga and Ayurveda with her training and licensure as a registered nurse. In addition to her background as a Yoga teacher, Felicia serves as the editor in chief of LA YOGA Ayurveda and Health magazine (where she has been on staff since the magazine’s inception). In the Ayurveda community, Felicia is the president of the CaliforniaAssociation of Ayurvedic Medicine and is on the board of directors of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. Aside from Yoga and Ayurveda, Felicia has worked in cognitive neuropsychology and plant biochemistry research and has degrees in nursing and environmental biology. She teaches and practices throughout California including at Wheel of Wellbeing.
