CANCELLATION POLICY

To ensure the success of all events and the satisfaction of all participants therein, please review our cancellation policy related to purchases and refunds made.

 

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late or leaving early from events, programs or retreats. Refunds will not be made available for flight cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances related to travel to events, programs, or retreats. While we wish we could compensate people for all unforeseen circumstances, we must cover costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers, hotels, convening spaces, catering, etc.

 

If you cancel your participation to a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. To protect yourselves further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to supplement our cancellation policy.

 

If cancellations are made:

                                                   

30+ days prior to the retreat start date:

You will receive a full refund of monies paid, less a 10% cancellation/service fee, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.

15-29 days prior to the start of the retreat date

You will receive a 50% refund of all monies paid, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.

 

0-14 days prior to the start of the retreat date

The full amount of monies paid will be forfeited, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.

 

In case of an emergency or an illness

If you need to cancel your retreat participation within 0-14 of the retreat start date due to an emergency or a serious illness, you have the option to transfer your space to someone you know or get a 50% credit towards our future retreats, programs, and events. In this scenario, Wheel of Wellbeing requires official proof & nature of emergency and or illness.

 

ALL cancelations must be submitted in writing via email to admin@wheelofwellbeing.com. When providing proof of emergency or illness, please scan and send to the email address provided.

 

 

IF WE CANCEL THE RETREAT:

We have never had to cancel a retreat, however if we do cancel a trip, we will refund you all deposits and payments you have paid. We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred, in the unlikely event that Wheel of Wellbeing must cancel a retreat due to weather, natural disaster or any other unforeseen circumstances.

 

IF WE ARE FORCED TO CUT THE RETREAT TIME SHORT

Our goal is to always provide our clients the best care possible, and we will do everything in our power to create a safe and secure environment for each of them. Unforeseen circumstances outside of the organizer’s control (ie, bad weather, earthquake, fire, etc) occur that may make the continuation of a retreat unsafe. In these scenarios, we will gladly offer a proportionate credit, calculated in consideration of retreat time lost, towards our future events, programs, and retreats.

 

 

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE: 

The best way to protect oneself from any unforeseen travel circumstances is to purchase trip insurance. Travel insurance may protect you in case:

• You cancel your participation for personal reasons

• A retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Lost baggage

• Medical expenses, and/or the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured

 

Photography and Videography

We encourage that you capture the moments on your personal devices and cherish them for years to come; however ALL professional photographs and videos taken during the retreat is exclusively the property of Wheel of Wellbeing and cannot be released, and or used in any publication, social media, advertising or any marketing platform without the written consent of Wheel of Wellbeing. Our client’s privacy is our outmost priority and we will not photograph or videotape the client without their signed consent.
